VEXAR BIN SERVICE — TERMS & CONDITIONSSERVICE OVERVIEWThe VEXAR bin service provides a 240 litre wheelie bin with scheduled fortnightly collections for bagged general household waste.
The service operates on a subscription basis via Direct Debit.-SERVICE AREAThe VEXAR bin service is currently limited to selected operational areas.
VEXAR reserves the right to decline or cancel subscriptions outside of these areas.
Any payments taken in error will be refunded prior to activation.-ACTIVATIONThe first monthly payment activates the service and includes:
• delivery of the VEXAR bin
• registration of the property on the collection route
• commencement of scheduled collectionsActivation is non-refundable once the bin has been delivered and the service has commenced.-SUBSCRIPTIONThe service operates at £34.99 per month via Direct Debit.
Payments are taken monthly and continue automatically on a rolling basis until the service is cancelled.-PAYMENT TERMSPayment is required to maintain active service.Failure to maintain payment will result in:
• suspension of collections
• potential removal of the binService will resume once payment is successfully resolved.-ACCEPTED WASTEThe service is designed for bagged general household waste only.Examples include:
• kitchen waste
• packaging
• general household rubbishAll waste must be securely bagged and suitable for manual handling.-PROHIBITED WASTEThe following items must not be placed in the bin:• soil, rubble, bricks
• plasterboard
• tyres
• electrical items
• furniture and mattresses
• hazardous materials
• liquids
• loose wasteLarger items and full waste clearances can be arranged separately upon request. Contact us to discuss.-WASTE REQUIREMENTSAll waste must:
• be bagged and tied
• fit within the bin with the lid fully closed
• be of a safe weight for manual handlingBins that do not meet these requirements will not be collected.-BIN OWNERSHIPAll bins remain the property of VEXAR at all times.Bins must not be:
• sold
• removed from the registered address without approval
• modified or damaged-CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIESThe customer is responsible for:
• ensuring the bin is used correctly
• keeping the bin safe and secure
• ensuring the bin is accessible on collection day-BIN ACCESSIBILITYBins must be placed at an agreed and accessible collection point on the scheduled collection day.If the bin is not accessible, collection will take place on the next scheduled route.-COLLECTION CONDITIONSVEXAR reserves the right to refuse collection where:
• the bin contains prohibited waste
• the bin is overloaded or unsafe
• the bin lid does not close
• access is restrictedRepeated failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of service.-ADDITIONAL WASTEExtra bags left beside the bin can be collected at £3 per standard bag. Excessively heavy or oversized bags may be subject to an additional charge.Larger items and full waste clearances can be arranged separately upon request. Contact us to discuss.-MULTIPLE BINSAdditional bins may be provided if required.
Each bin is charged at the standard monthly subscription rate.-SHARED USEBins are assigned to a single address and account holder.
Shared use is permitted, however responsibility remains with the registered account holder.-MISSED COLLECTIONSIf a collection is missed due to customer-related issues, the next collection will take place on the following scheduled route.-DAMAGE, LOSS OR THEFTLost, stolen, or damaged bins must be reported.
A replacement charge may apply where appropriate.-SERVICE INTERRUPTIONSCollections may be delayed due to factors outside of control, including severe weather or operational issues.-CANCELLATIONThe service may be cancelled with 30 days notice.
The bin will be collected from the property and the subscription will end after the notice period.-NON-PAYMENTFailure to maintain the monthly subscription will result in suspension of the service and may result in removal of the bin.-RIGHT TO TERMINATEVEXAR reserves the right to suspend or terminate the service where these terms are breached, including misuse of the bin, prohibited waste, or non-compliance with service requirements.-SERVICE CHANGESVEXAR reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the service where necessary to maintain operations.
